EVERY LITTLE STEP WITH MIKE TYSON WAYNE BRADY AND BOBBY BROWN

Every....last one of them is doing too much, especially Bobby Brown.

Ne-Yo 's High School Picture

What to say, what to say.........how about unique. I mean once upon a time ago, I had a ramp, fade haircut, with a texturizer. I wanted to make my hair look curly. Lol. I mean is that two or three hoops in your ear? In this case, you did too much. A picture says a thousand words, what do you think?

MC Hammer is mad at Jay-Z

Hammer don’t hurt’em? MC Hammer is mad at Jay-Z because of Jay’s verse on Kanye West’s song “So Appalled.” The song features The RZA, Pusha T (The Clipse), Swizz Beatz, and Cyhi da Prynce. The beat and the verses on this track is crazy. On Jay-Z’s verse he says, “…I lost thirty mill so I spent another thirty, cause unlike Hammer, thirty million cant hurt me…” Hammer was not happy about this one line, he supposedly is preparing a diss record against Jay-Z. MC Hammer if you chose to proceed with this retaliation record, “you doing too much.” I understand that one line kind of pinched a nerve and we definitely understand why. But in case some of you may have forgotten MC Hammer was a great performer and multi-platinum selling rap artist. MC Hammer made a little over 30 million dollars. Unfortunately, a lot of his money was spent on a house, horses, videos, and numerous other things and people. MC Hammer filed for bankruptcy in 1996.

Besides the fact you’re even considering dissing Jay-Z, I don’t recall you putting out diss records against various people and rappers. One rapper in particular, Nelly whom in 2000 had a debut song called Country Grammar and on his verse said, “…wit country grammar, smoking blunts in Savannah, blowing thirty mill like I’m Hammer…”

Lyfe Jennings sentenced to three and half years in prison

Platinum selling artist Lyfe Jennings was sentenced to three and half years in prison on September 22, 2010. The sentencing came from charges for the incidents that occurred on October 18, 2008. Jennings kicked in the door of assumed location of his former girlfriend and children’s mother, fired rounds from his gun, and then fled the scene. After eluding police, he was later arrested with felony charges for refusing a DUI test, possession of firearms by a convicted felon, and other charges initially starting from a domestic dispute.

Jennings released this statement on his Twitter account, “This will be my last post. To everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you. All I can say in parting is that I have been honest with yaw. I didn’t sugarcoat a word didn’t hold back a single sylible of my life from yaw. I’ve lived a hundred lives in these 6 yrs so I not only won’t, i don’t have the right to complain. I would like to think that I’ve changed lives by changing my own, tho I can’t be sure. But one thing I am sure of is God gives and takes away in measure. He is fair, just and forever. Amen from aman… Smile, its contageousJ

Prior to the release of his debut album, “Lyfe 268-192” in 2004, Jennings completed a ten year prison sentence in 1992 for arson, which definitely changed the course of his life at the age of 19. Jennings continued the success of his first album with three more albums in 2006 and 2008, including his newest album; “I Still Believe” released August 31, 2010.

Braylon Edwards Arrested

New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards gets a DWI after being pulled over for his extremely dark tinted windows on his vehicle. Being a well-known athlete, ranked as one of the best receivers in football, is just half of what Braylon Edwards is known for. The other half is his previous arrest for disorderly conduct earlier this year. Driving while intoxicated puts yourself in danger and others, which is enough to get a, “you doing too much.” There’s more to the story, the NFL has a pick-up my athlete so he wont hurt himself or do something stupid service. No, seriously there is a transportation program where the NFL picks a player up if they are inebriated or unable to drive or for any reason that they might need a ride. It is confidential and his team pays the bill. I forgot to mention that there were other athletes in the car as well.

This story is actually bigger than Braylon Edwards, the list of athletes that end up in legal or criminal altercations is endless. It’s too easy to say , “they are human beings, everybody makes mistakes.” The reality is that some athletes fail to realize is that with celebrity, fame, and money comes accountability. Unfortunately athletes are judged on a higher scale than the rest of us. Every decision and action is in the publics’ eye and will be scrutinized to the highest level. Plain and simple: accept the fame assume the responsibility.

Bruno Mars in trouble

Some of you may ask, “who is Bruno Mars?” He is a singer, producer, and song writer. Bruno co-wrote Flo-Rida's song “Round-Round.” Bruno is most commonly known for his singing contributions to both B.o.B’s record, “Nothing on you” and Travie McCoy‘s ”Billionaire.” Bruno currently has a new single of his own called, “Just the way you are.” The song is doing well on the charts. His new album will be released October 5, 2010 and is called, “Doo-Wops and Hooligans“. His career is sky rocketing to the top….until Sunday morning, Bruno was arrested for drug possession in a Las Vegas hotel. Bruno, “you doing too much” don’t go down the wrong path and end your career early. Hopefully his publicist can clean this damage up. I hate to see good talent go to waste.

quick hits 9-20-2010

I think Amber Rose is super SEXY(all caps). She has the type of body that would look good in almost anything....almost. The red hair, the dress, and extra long eye lashes, "you doing too much."

Omarion, stop it. 2010 Erkel? Red shirt, red bow-tie, red belt, red briefcase with nothing in it. Black loafers and un-cuffed white pants, "you doing too much."

Chick-Fil-A....?

Apparently this Chick-fil-A is big deal. For those who don’t know including myself, Chick-fil-a is a restaurant food chain that specializes in chicken entrees. The second largest to Kentucky Fried Chicken. Chick-fil-A is based in Atlanta and mainly has locations in southern states and with its continued success, it made it to Aurora, Illinois. On September 16, 2010 at about 6:00am something like 100 people camped out the new location prior to the opening for 24 hours. Sleeping bags, igloos, pilows, and patience filled the parking lot. They did this for a years supply of chicken combo meals. For camping outside of the restaurant for COMBOS they get a, “you doing too much.”

Side note: A years supply of combos which includes 52 sandwiches/fries/drinks.

quick hits

As you can see a well known brand has one of their products recalled. But this popular grocery store gets a, “you doing too much” because you put a sign up in front of where, or used to be where the product was located for all to see. I don’t know if this is “recall procedure” but seeing this sign makes me not want to use any of this brands products and makes me want to go thru the store looking for other “recall” signs.

MTV video music awards....

Over all the show wasn’t bad. The performances were good and Chelsea Handler did ok. But Will.I.Am, I mean your great producer. You are a hit maker and multi-platinum selling artist. You performed with Nicki Minaj and you had on a all black outfit with black paint on your face….”you doing too much”. We get it, we get it, futuristic song and you both wanted show and express that with your costumes, but I think you took it to far. It will definitely be some backlash for this one. Some might be confused on the point of it.

Rihanna performed with Eminem for his song “Love the way you lie.” Performance was ok, but Rhiana’s dress and hair definitely gets a, “you doing too much.” Everybody loves the way you dress and your various hair styles. On the VMA’s “you doing too much.” Rihanna had some white fluffy dress, black military boots, and a red wig on. Someone obviously dropped the ball on this look and hair style. There is a big difference between style and being unique, and this is neither. This is the first time I have been disappointed in her look.

Last but not least, numerous artist was in attendance at MTV video awards. One in particular was not invited. Seems that MTV feels Keyshia Cole is not a “MTV artist” and did not send her a invitation to their 2010 award show. For not inviting her, Mtv definitely gets a, “you doing too much.” Keyshia Cole mentioned on her twitter account to one of her followers, “..I don’t know they’re perception of who I am. I haven’t crossed over yet. I only sell 1.5 every album. that’s only 5 mil. In 5 years” I think that’s enough for a invitation especially when the host is not even a musician and never had a video of anything.

Brett Favre....

While watching the NFL replay today, 2009 Conference Finals - Saints vs. Vikings, and seeing Brett Favre go down and injure his ankle, I realized his race for the Super Bowl was out of arms reach. Although the Vikings could of won the game 4 or 5 times I knew Brett was going to re-retire once again.
The Saints defeated the Vikings and went to the super bowl and defeated the Indianapolis Colts. After a long off season of possibilities, Brett has decided to return to the Vikings and play another season. Of course, the first game of the 2010-2011 season is rematch with the now defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, on primetime.

I am a Brett #4 Favre fan and somewhat of a Minnesota Vikings fan. Last season was amazing, you and the team’s numbers were impressive, and I wouldn’t have expected anything less. Unfortunately, I feel “you doing too much,” you’re 40 years old, you have 20 years of experience you retired twice, you have played on numerous teams; the Falcons to Packers to the Jets and finally to the Vikings, and you’re in okay condition. I feel you on the love for the game and the will to play again, and understand you would love to add another Super Bowl championship to your resume, but I would hate to see you go down and out within the first three games of the season against the Saints, Dolphin, and the Lions. Looking at the Vikings schedule, I don’t see Brett Favre being able to repeat or improve last seasons 12-4 record.
