Manifesto

The term "you doing too much" is a grammatically incorrect phrase used to identify a person, place or thing, that is doing exactly that; the act of “doing too much” or more then they can handle. These actions can be simple as someone dressed inappropriately to political views.

MTV video music awards....

Over all the show wasn’t bad. The performances were good and Chelsea Handler did ok. But Will.I.Am, I mean your great producer. You are a hit maker and multi-platinum selling artist. You performed with Nicki Minaj and you had on a all black outfit with black paint on your face….”you doing too much”. We get it, we get it, futuristic song and you both wanted show and express that with your costumes, but I think you took it to far. It will definitely be some backlash for this one. Some might be confused on the point of it.

Rihanna performed with Eminem for his song “Love the way you lie.” Performance was ok, but Rhiana’s dress and hair definitely gets a, “you doing too much.” Everybody loves the way you dress and your various hair styles. On the VMA’s “you doing too much.” Rihanna had some white fluffy dress, black military boots, and a red wig on. Someone obviously dropped the ball on this look and hair style. There is a big difference between style and being unique, and this is neither. This is the first time I have been disappointed in her look.

Last but not least, numerous artist was in attendance at MTV video awards. One in particular was not invited. Seems that MTV feels Keyshia Cole is not a “MTV artist” and did not send her a invitation to their 2010 award show. For not inviting her, Mtv definitely gets a, “you doing too much.” Keyshia Cole mentioned on her twitter account to one of her followers, “..I don’t know they’re perception of who I am. I haven’t crossed over yet. I only sell 1.5 every album. that’s only 5 mil. In 5 years” I think that’s enough for a invitation especially when the host is not even a musician and never had a video of anything.
